Teaching mathematics and beyond

A graduate degree in mathematics education provides the necessary skills and abilities for a variety of careers beyond secondary education settings. Drawing on the principles of a liberal arts education, you will develop a useful skill-set that includes critical thinking, analysis and research skills. Upon receiving your graduate degree in mathematics education, you may pursue a career teaching mathematics at the secondary or college level, working for the federal government, or pursuing a career in statistics, applied mathematics or in research.
