Scholarships and Financial Aid

The mathematics department at Missouri State University offers many scholarships specifically for students pursuing a major, minor or graduate level degree in mathematics or one of its related programs. These scholarships are designed to support your studies at Missouri State and reward promise in the classroom and in future careers. Typically, applications must be submitted at the beginning of March with scholarship recipients announced later in the spring.

You may qualify for University scholarships. The Office of Financial Aid provides information about University scholarships, grants and loans. Most scholarships at Missouri State University, including those designated for mathematics students, require the submission of a completed Missouri State scholarship application. Financial need is often considered in the awarding of scholarships, and is determined solely by your Federal Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA).

MSU Foundation Scholarships

MSU Foundation Scholarships are made possible through private gifts to the University made by individuals, groups or companies. They are awarded to students each year based on a wide range of criteria: college, major/minor, high school attended, outstanding academic achievement, leadership, financial need, etc.

The Search Tool will allow you to view available scholarships. You may search using keywords or the category search filter option, however you cannot apply for scholarships using the Search Tool.
